Over 60 million people globally have severe or higher levels of hearing loss. Though listening assistive devices can assist speech recognition, they are insufficient for enjoying music which notably limits these users’ recreation methods and hampers their participation in public events that include music. Therefore, based on haptic theories and scientific user research, VibrO aims at offering a high-quality and multi-scenario haptic musical experience for target users.
