We explored society’s bad habits in the past, especially the unequal treatment of women. We use the process of a funeral to illustrate the pressure women face from social expectations. From the perspective of the daughter-in-law, who has a relatively contradictory status in the family, we describe the various pressures and problems she endures in her husband’s family. We also added fish to hint at what the daughter-in-law encountered in the family.
