Microplastic in the ocean are ingested by seabirds, fish, and other organisms, and these organisms are then consumed by humans. This not only causes ecological damage but also affects human health, leading to diseases. Plastic waste washes up on remote islands, breaks down into microplastics, and drifts in the ocean before eventually sinking to the seafloor. Therefore, we aim to recover these microplastics from the ocean.
