By observing people’s storage habits and conducting in-depth interviews with firefighters, I identified several shortcomings in existing fire masks. These included unclear instructions, uncomfortable designs, and a lack of consideration for the user’s state during a fire. To address these issues, I conducted extensive research on fire scenarios, focusing on factors such as visibility, communication, and heat. Through iterative design and expert consultation, I developed a new household fire mask that offers improved functionality and user experience.
