ADC
The One Club for Creativity is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for all outstanding creative disciplines, ranging from design to illustration, photography to animation, art direction to copywriting, and more. The One Club for Creativity was established after the merger of the Art Directors Club and The One Club for Art & Copy, and it has celebrated commercial art for nearly a century. The ADC Annual Awards may be the industry’s longest-running continuous awards program and are also part of Creative Week. The Creative Hall of Fame includes legendary figures such as Paul Rand, Massimo Vignelli, Saul Bass, Andy Warhol, and Richard Avedon. Its Young Guns competition has helped boost the careers of many contemporary designers, including James Victore, Natasha Jen, Christoph Niemann, and Jessica Walsh. Beyond the One Show Design and ADC Awards, The One Club for Creativity has long led initiatives in education, professional development, inclusivity and diversity, and gender equality. Programs like Young Ones and Portfolio Night prepare the next generation of designers to enter the industry, while Young Guns 17 highlights the best career opportunities for creative talents under the age of 30.
AIA
The American Institute of Architects (AIA), founded in 1857, is one of the most influential professional organizations in the United States for architecture. The association is dedicated to elevating professional standards, fostering design innovation, advancing sustainability, and promoting the public good. AIA provides its member architects with professional education, practical resources, and certification systems, while also actively engaging in urban planning, policy advocacy, and social issues. Through global exchanges and professional networks, AIA has become a driving force in advancing architectural design and social development, as well as one of the most credible and representative organizations in the global architecture community.
ADP
Since its establishment in 2016, the Asia Design Prize (ADP) has become a significant international design platform in Asia, dedicated to carrying forward Asian creativity while setting new standards and future directions for global design. Its brand slogan, “LEGACY BEYOND ASIA,” emphasizes that design is not merely about aesthetics but should also embody culture, emotion, and philosophy, allowing Asia’s unique design language to become a benchmark for the times. The judging system emphasizes fairness and respect, composed of jurors from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, ensuring in-depth understanding and fair evaluation of works through a transparent process. Winners receive a wide range of support, including global media exposure, exhibitions, brand collaborations, investments, and business opportunities, enabling design to enter the global market and transform into growth momentum for creators.
AVA
The Animation & Visual Effects Association (AVA), established in 2019, is composed of Taiwan’s leading animation and visual effects companies, independent creators, and academic professionals. AVA is dedicated to uniting industry forces to enhance overall competitiveness, while fostering healthy industry development through collaboration and knowledge sharing. The association also focuses on the introduction and promotion of the latest technologies, and actively connects with government resources, subsidy programs, and domestic and international investment opportunities. Its mission is to provide all members with a platform for continuous growth and innovation.
BEDA
The Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA) consists of 51 member organizations from 26 European Union countries. Its members include design promotion centers, publicly funded organizations that promote design at regional or national levels, as well as professional associations and trade bodies representing designers across Europe. Collectively, these associations represent more than 400,000 designers working in fields ranging from industrial design and interior design to digital design and brand design. BEDA is a nonprofit organization fully funded by its members. The membership elects a Board of Directors every two years, which oversees the association’s governance, while the President and Vice President are also elected biennially. BEDA’s headquarters are located in Brussels.
BICM
The International Poster Biennial in Mexico has a history of more than 23 years, organized in collaboration with Mexico’s most important cultural institutions and recognized internationally. Together with the Lahti International Poster Biennial in Finland, the Warsaw International Poster Biennale in Poland, the Toyama International Poster Triennial in Japan, and the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition in the United States, it is ranked among the world’s top five poster exhibitions, and it is also one of the three most significant biennials worldwide.
CEA
The Creative Economy Agency (CEA) of Thailand is a government organization dedicated to developing the creative economy and fostering both economic and social development. CEA supports Thai creatives and creative enterprises in applying creativity and innovation to enhance the competitiveness of Thai products and services, while also striving to build communities and environments conducive to creative industries and innovation. It promotes the practical application of creative ideas to generate and enhance economic and social potential. Under the management of CEA, the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) continues to provide access to resources and creative spaces for creatives and enterprises in Bangkok and other regions of Thailand, enabling them to leverage their creative strengths to drive the country’s social and economic growth.
CII
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is committed to working in partnership with industry, government, and civil society through advisory and consultative processes to create and sustain an environment conducive to India’s development. For 125 years, CII has been dedicated to shaping India’s development journey, and this year it is more actively promoting the participation of Indian industry in national growth than ever before.
CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and managed organization with around 9,100 members from the private and public sectors, including SMEs and multinational corporations, along with indirect membership of over 300,000 enterprises from 288 national and regional industry bodies.
By working closely with the government on policy issues, engaging with thought leaders, and offering a wide range of specialized services and strategic global linkages, CII enhances industry’s efficiency, competitiveness, and business opportunities, driving transformative change. It also provides a platform for consensus-building and networking on critical issues.
CII’s agenda extends beyond business, assisting industry in designing and implementing corporate citizenship programs. In collaboration with civil society organizations, it promotes inclusive development initiatives across multiple areas, including affirmative action, healthcare, education, livelihood, diversity management, skill development, women’s empowerment, and water resources.
CIIPE
The Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition (CIIPE) stands out among renowned international design biennials. Masters of the field are invited to curate and present the best works from the past two years, showcased alongside their peers. CIIPE aims to present exemplars of art to academic and professional audiences in North America. Each juror selects three co-winners and three honorable mentions. The mission of CIIPE is to foster international understanding, inclusivity, and dialogue through graphic art. It celebrates artistic excellence and the freedom of diverse expression.
CSID
The Chinese Society of Interior Designers (CSID) was established on May 5, 1979, in Taipei, composed of Taiwan’s outstanding interior designers. Members join as individual members after portfolio review, while interior material and equipment manufacturers are included as corporate members. Since its founding, CSID has made significant contributions to the professional and academic development of interior design in Taiwan, and it has a history spanning over 100 years.
Since 1989, CSID has been the only professional organization representing Taiwan in international design associations, actively participating in the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), the Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), and other international professional bodies. It is also active in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. CSID members’ works have repeatedly received recognition in international competitions and are widely covered by the media.
Cumulus
Cumulus, formally known as the International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design, and Media, is the only international association dedicated to art and design education and research. It also serves as a forum for fostering partnerships, promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices. Currently, Cumulus includes 286 members from 57 countries.
Cumulus was founded in 1990 and has operated as an association since 2001. At its inception, the network was initiated by the University of Art and Design Helsinki (UIAH, now part of Aalto University’s School of Arts, Design and Architecture) and the Royal College of Art in London, in collaboration with the Danish Design School, the Amsterdam Royal Academy of Art, the University of Essen in Germany, and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Cumulus provides a broad international context, aiming to advance discussion and development in art, design, and media education and research.
DBCS
The Design Business Chamber Singapore (DBCS), established in 1985, is Singapore’s leading cross-disciplinary design business hub. Its members come from diverse backgrounds, including over 190 business leaders, professionals, and academic talents. DBCS also organizes the annual Singapore Design Awards, providing a comprehensive platform and awards that allow outstanding companies and designers in Singapore and neighboring regions to showcase their creative talents. DBCS aims to enhance design capabilities and create new business opportunities through cross-regional international collaboration.
GDA
The Good Design Australia (GDA), established in 1958, has spent over sixty years committed to promoting the ultimate values of excellent design. Through its annual Good Design Awards, the association showcases the unique design capabilities of designers and nurtures the potential of emerging design talents. GDA passionately believes in the transformative power of design, aiming to create better and more effective products and services, enhanced experiences, and more competitive businesses. GDA firmly believes that through design, we can collectively build a better and sustainably prosperous world.
HKFDA
The Federation of Hong Kong Design and Creative Industries (FHKDA) was originally established in 2000 as the Hong Kong Designers Association. In 2004, it was renamed the Federation of Hong Kong Designers, adopting FHKDA as its official abbreviation. FHKDA was founded by four major professional design associations: the Chartered Society of Designers (Hong Kong) (CSD, HK), the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA), and the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA). FHKDA provides the industry with a platform for discussion on design, education, cultural policy, and infrastructure development, while also conveying the ideas and opinions of the industry to the government.
IDDC
The Indonesia Design Development Center (IDDC) is an organization established and funded by the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia, aimed at fostering collaboration between businesses, designers, and the government. It supports the development and innovation of design from local products to international markets.
IDDC is not only an institution that creates high-quality, high-value, and competitive products, but also serves as a platform for cultivating design creativity and a space for professional designers to mentor the business community.
The center provides comprehensive support and services related to graphic design, packaging, and product development. It assists businesses in developing products through various programs, such as the Design Clinic, the Indonesia Good Design Awards (in collaboration with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion), and the Designer Dispatch Service (in cooperation with local enterprise export mentoring programs). These initiatives reflect the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia’s strong commitment to supporting the creative industries, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
As a full-service institution, IDDC nurtures high-quality, high-value, and competitive products while providing a platform for design creativity. It also offers pathways for professional designers to mentor and assist the business sector. Through its programs in graphic design, packaging, and product development, IDDC actively helps businesses grow their products. These efforts underscore the Ministry of Trade’s unwavering support for the creative industry, especially for SMEs.
JAGDA
The Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA), established in 1978, currently has 3,000 members and is the only association of graphic designers in Japan. JAGDA leverages the power of graphic design to improve the quality of environmental communication through various activities, including the publication of annuals, textbooks, and other related materials, as well as organizing exhibitions and seminars. JAGDA also contributes to community revitalization and government policies and is committed to protecting design copyrights.
JDP
In 1969, the Japanese government established the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) with the primary goal of recognizing outstanding design and promoting design excellence. Over time, the Good Design Award has become an internationally renowned design accolade. According to statistics, more than 80% of the Japanese public recognize this mark, demonstrating how closely Good Design is integrated into daily life in Japan. Receiving the Good Design Award has also become an important consideration for consumers when purchasing products. As a result, the Japan Institute of Design Promotion is regarded as one of the most successful organizations for design promotion.
KECD
The Mexico International Poster Biennial has a history of over 23 years, organized in collaboration with Mexico’s most important cultural institutions and recognized internationally. PADI
The Pan-African Design Institute (PADI), also known as the African Design Council, is a continent-wide organization representing a wide range of design professionals, including master designers, prominent design figures, and design educators. As a professional design institution, PADI’s primary goals are to empower professional designers, promote the development of the African design industry, and establish design education as an essential discipline for the 21st century.
TAFAD
The Taiwan Fashion Apparel Designers Association (TAFAD) was established to promote Taiwanese fashion designer brands, enhance their visibility within the industry, and assist them in expanding into international markets. TAFAD also aims to foster collaboration and exchange among designers, creating a platform that integrates professionalism and creativity. Each year, the association organizes the TAFAD GALA fashion party and dinner, bringing together designers, industry professionals, and media resources. This event has become a significant annual occasion in Taiwan’s fashion scene, showcasing the energy and international potential of Taiwanese design.
TDAA

It is ranked among the world’s top five poster exhibitions alongside the Lahti International Poster Biennial (Finland), Warsaw International Poster Biennial (Poland), Toyama International Poster Exhibition (Japan), and Colorado International Poster Exhibition (USA), and is also one of the three major poster biennials globally.
TGDA
The Taiwan Graphic Design Association (TGDA) was founded in 1992 when a group of Taiwanese designers recognized the importance of unity and quality improvement within Taiwan’s design community. They began actively planning to establish a non-profit association aimed at consolidating design awareness, enhancing design quality, and creating a platform for design innovation.
Through the efforts of key figures such as Mr. Jian Zhengzong from Jinjia Design, Ms. Cheng Xiangru from Wanshi Design, and Mr. Wang Bingnan from Oupu Design, TGDA was officially established in the spring of 1994 with approval from the Ministry of the Interior. The association brings together elite designers from Taiwan’s graphic, packaging, and corporate identity (CI) design fields. Motivated by shared ideals, TGDA is committed to securing a place for Taiwanese designers on the international stage.
TIDA
The Taiwan Industrial Design Association (TIDA) was established on December 12, 1967, as Taiwan’s first professional organization centered on industrial designers. It is also a professional member of the World Design Organization (WDO, formerly known as the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design, ICSID).
Bringing together most of Taiwan’s design elites from both industry and academia, TIDA works in collaboration with the government through a phased approach to enhance national product design capabilities. The association organizes a series of training programs to promote industrial design principles and techniques, providing industry R&D personnel with knowledge of design capabilities and opportunities to apply design innovation in alignment with advanced international design management practices. Over the years, TIDA has nurtured Taiwanese companies to develop innovative products and establish their own brands in the global market, laying the foundation for Taiwan’s international competitiveness in the knowledge economy era.
WDO
The World Design Organization (WDO)® is a non-profit international organization, formerly known as the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid). Its mission is to promote industrial design and enhance the ability to produce better products, systems, services, and experiences through design, thereby fostering stronger enterprises and industries and ultimately contributing to a better environment and society.
Since its founding in 1957 with 12 member design associations, WDO has grown to include over 160 member organizations from 40 countries, collectively collaborating and providing a platform for global voices to be heard. At the WDO conference in October 2015, all members unanimously approved a new vision and mission and agreed to change the organization’s name to the current “World Design Organization.” WDO holds special consultative status with the United Nations.
