National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology

National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) was established on February 1, 2018, by the merger of three universities: National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, and National Kaohsiung Marine University, becoming the largest technological university in Taiwan. NKUST has a total of five campuses, including Jiangong Campus, Yanchao Campus, First Campus, Nanzih Campus, and Cijin Campus. The total area of the five campuses covers 216.1 hectares which provides students an excellent and diverse learning environment. * Jiangong Campus/Yanchao Campus: Total area covers 119.5 hectares and is the former National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences. Located in the Jiangong shopping area, Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City, the Jiangong Campus (consists of both College of Engineering and College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) sits in a great and convenient spot. The Yanchao Campus (both the College of Management and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences) is close to the nature which results in a vibrant natural ecosystem. * First Campus: Covering both the Yanchao Campus and Nanzhi Campus, the total area is 73.4 hectares. The First Campus is the former National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology. Having the College Bridge as a connection, the First Campus consists of the Athletic Recreation Area, the Teaching Administration Area, College of Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Management, College of Finance and Banking, and College of Foreign Languages. Along with the vast area covered, the scenery of the campus is magnificent. * Nanzhi Campus/Cijin Campus: Total area covers 23.2 hectares and is the former National Kaohsiung Marine University. The Nanzhi Campus (consists of the College of Management, College of Hydrosphere Science, and College of Marine Engineering) is near Houjing Station of the Kaohsiung Metro which is located in a convenient spot. The Cijin Campus (consists of the College of Maritime) is the training center for crew members and is the only university with a personal pier.
