A Look into 2022 Taiwan International Student Design Competition’s Promotional Campaign – Roving exhibition in Mexico – Veracruzana Normal School in Xalapa, October 31st to November 25th
The 2022 Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC) will be holding an exhibition with the International Poster Biennial in Mexico (BICM) at the Veracruzana Normal School in Xalapa from October 31st to November 25th. The month-long exhibition will present awarded entries from the 2019 to the 2021 TISDC.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held at the Veracruzana Normal School in Xalapa on October 31st. The ceremony was hosted by the Director of the BICM, a partner of the TISDC. The event attracted hundreds of designers and students worldwide and was well received by participants, which includes Lech Majewski, Chairman of the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, Jean-Michel Géridan, Chairman of the All to Chaumont’ Poster Competition / Managing Director of the Général chez le Signe, centre national du graphisme, and John Gravdahal, Chairman of the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition. Renowned designers coming from different fields also attended the event, such as Carlos González Manjarrez, Design Director at CG Design in Mexico, Götz Gramlich, founder of gggrafik design in Germany, Klaus Welp, founder of Welp Ltd in Finland, Erin Wright, a famous American designer, Ken Cato, founder of Cato Brand Partners in Australia, and Eric Boelts, principal of Brain Bolts in America. It is hoped that the exhibition will bring in more design discussion in this vibrant design school. Moreover, it is hoped that TISDC can interact and mingle with Mexican culture so that design students in Mexico can be inspired by the creative entries from other countries. The TISDC is looking forward to receiving more entries from design students in Mexico next year.
