A Look into 2021 Taiwan International Student Design Competition’s Overseas Promotional Campaign in Africa
The fifth stop of our overseas promotion settled in Ghana, Africa. TISDC has specially invited Professor Edward Appiah, professor of the Visual Communication Design Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as the promotional representative in Africa.
A total of 223 teachers and students participated in our online campus promotions on both June 11th 2021 and June 23rd 2021. Participants included students from the KNUST as well as other universities that received our information from Professor Edward Appiah. During our online promotions, not only did we share this year’s theme: Regenerate, but also introduce the five features of our competition, including no registration fee, collaborations with international design organizations, high prize money etc. Professor Edward Appiah stated that the students gave plenty of positive feedback so we do truly hope to receive many outstanding works from students in Ghana, Africa this year!
Special thanks to Professor Edward Appiah for his huge support and encouragement. Once again, we hope colleges and universities from Ghana can continue to follow up on our competition and may all the contestants achieve the best results.
