A Look into 2020 Taiwan International Student Design Competition’s Promotional Campaign-Chaoyang University of Technology, March 12th

The fourth stop of 2020 Taiwan International Student Design Competition’s domestic promotional campaign was Chaoyang University of Technology. On March 12th, the execution team of 2020TISDC introduced its competition to around 60 professors and students from the Department of Industrial Design. Ms. Chen, project manager of TISDC, focuesed on the awards of this year’s competition and sharing the winning entries of 2019TISDC with the attendees. Thanks for everyone’s active participation.

The theme of 2020TISDC is “Action,” which encourages design students to take action and look into how design could help people solve problems in our daily life. Thus, “Action” is also related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations in 2015. The United Nations aims to make the world a better place for humans to live. However, there are 17 goals global citizens must achieve to make the Earth more sustainable. 2020TISDC hopes that design students could take this opportunity not only try to deal with these issues but also show the world their excellent designs.

TISDC would like to thank Prof. Syuan-Lan Shih for helping us arrange this promotional event, which was a great success. Hope design students from Chaoyang University of Technology could actively participate in this year’s competition and stand on the stage to receive the awards at the end of this year.
