A Look into 2019 Taiwan International Student Design Competition’s Promotional Campaign – New Era University College & INTI Center of Art and Design, April 10th
On the third day of Taiwan International Student Design Competition’s (TISDC’s) promotional trip to Malaysia, the associate project directors, Prof. Ming-Lung Yu, Prof. Shi-Fu Lee and Lecturer Miira Lin, led the executive team to visit and promote TISDC at New Era University College and INTI Center of Art and Design on 10th April. Around 190 teachers and students joined the promotional events together.
The theme of 2019 TISDC, “Empathy,” is a concept rooted in affective commitment. Prof. Yu not only reminded the students to view things from diverse perspectives and make good use of creative thinking when designing but also shared some of the winning works that TISDC received before with the attendees, hoping to spark their creativity.
Special thanks to Executive Soong Siew Fun of New Era University College and Lecturer John Ho of INTI Center of Art and Design for helping TISDC arrange the promotional events and invite all the teachers and students to join together. With their assistance and support, the promotional events had rounded off. We look forward to all the students’ active participation in TISDC!
