2022TISDC《Campus Lecture : Circular Economy IV》- National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

Online Circular Economy campus lecture IV came to National Taiwan University of Science and Technology on May 16th, 2022 (Monday). Architect Mr. Ying-Chao Kuo from Bio architecture Formosana was invited to give an online lecture to the students and teachers of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. There’re more than 85 participants joined in this event.

Mr. Kuo sharing about the theme of “Biological intelligence: The Origin of Architectural Creativity”. He also talked about the biological intelligence that inspires the four orientations of “origin”, “interface”, “form”, and “loop”. It contains all levels and is closely related to each other.

He also explained different examples of recycling of materials and building structures, as well as environmental recycling. In his personal thinking, he believes that although artificial intelligence is important in the current generation AI, BI is more in line with the needs of the modern generation for the sustainable development and architecture of the earth.

TISDC would like to thank National Taiwan University of Science and Technology for the strong support and assistance for making this event a successful conclusion. Due to the great support from TPCA foundation, TISDC had a chance to hold the lecture in the theme of circular economy and to provide different aspects of thoughts and observations in the field of design. Looking forward to see more great works from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology to come this year TISDC.
