2018 Taiwan International Student Design Competition-Final Selection Instructions for Work Submission

＊ The work submission, including mailing printout(s) and affidavit and uploading required files, should be completed before 17:00, October 9, 2018 (Taipei: GMT+8).

An overdue submission will be regarded as the abandonment of the participant’s qualification for being the finalist.

＊ As for the starting time to submit the work online for final selection, please pay attention to the announcement made on the official website of 2018 TISDC.

1. Product Design Category: Please upload at most 3 electronic files of the printouts online and also send the printouts to TISDC. The uploaded electronic file(s) and the printout(s) must be the same. Only printouts are accepted. Any kinds of models and entities are NOT accepted.

 

2. Visual Design Category: Please upload at most 3 electronic files of the printouts online and also send the printouts to TISDC. The uploaded electronic file(s) and the printout(s) must be the same. Only printouts are accepted. Any kinds of models and entities are NOT accepted.

 

3. Digital Animation Category: Please upload at most 5 electronic files of the printouts and the full-length film online. NO printouts should be sent to TISDC.

 

4. Service Design Category: Please upload at most 3 electronic files of the printouts online and also send the printouts to TISDC. The uploaded electronic file(s) and the printout(s) must be the same.

 

 

I.【Mail Printout(s)】: Product Design Category/ Visual Design Category/ Service Design Category

1. Printout(s): A2 Size (Portrait Format: L59.4cm×W42cm or Landscape Format: L42cm×W59.4cm). Printout(s) and the uploaded electronic file(s) must be the same.

Product Design Category – At most 3 printouts per entry

Visual Design Category – At most 3 printouts per entry

Service Design Category– At most 3 printouts per entry

2. Paste Entry Information Sheet: The printout(s) need NOT be mounted on cardboards/paperboards. Please download the entry information sheet and fill out the forms. The hard copy of the entry information sheet should be pasted in the lower right corner at the back of your printout(s.) Every printout should be pasted with one entry information sheet. (Please remember to mark the order of the printout(s).)

1. Product Design Category 
   ※Please compress your JPG files in a zip first and then upload it※

1. Electronic file(s) of the printout(s): A2 Size (Portrait Format: L59.4cm×W42cm or Landscape Format: L42cm×W59.4cm, 300dip, JPG). At most 3 posters could be uploaded for each entry.
2. An image of the product (without description): Please upload an image of the product (e.g. a product rendering) in A2 size (Portrait Format: L59.4cm×W42cm or Landscape Format: L42cm×W59.4cm, 300dip, JPG). But NO description is needed in the image.

3. A one-minute clip of product introduction: This is optional not required. (under 800MB,MOV /MP4 format)

3. Digital Animation Category

1. Electronic file(s) of film poster(s): A2 Size (Portrait Format: L59.4cm×W42cm or Landscape Format: L42cm×W59.4cm, 300dip, JPG). At most 5 posters could be uploaded for each film.
2. Full-length Film: The film must be less than 10 minutes (under 800MB,MOV /MP4 format). Please compress Video in a zip first and then upload it.

 

III.【Upload Other Required Documents】 
      ※Please compress your JPG files in a zip first and then upload it※

1. Upload a scanned file of valid student ID card or school enrollment certificate (Every designer should upload his/her own student ID card or school enrollment certificate.)

 

2. Upload a scanned file of the proof of date of birth (e.g. Passport/ Driver’s License/Identity Certificate) (Every designer should upload his/her own proof of date of birth.)

           

3. Upload a scanned file of signed affidavit. Please download the affidavit, fill out the form, and upload the scanned file of signed affidavit (PNG/JPG format). (All the designers should sign on the affidavit so only one copy of the affidavit is needed for each entry.) Please also send the original signed affidavit to TISDC with your printout(s).

4. Upload clear high-quality half-length photos of all the designers of the work (above 2MB/ JPG/ 300dpi) to the official website of 2018 TISDC: www.tisdc.org
