2021年TISDC臺灣國際學生創意設計大賽主題揭曉，今年度主題為 – Regenerate / 繼往開來，推陳出新；改變視角，再創新局。

著名小說家法蘭茲 · 卡夫卡：「有些事情必須得刻意往反方向邁進才能達成 / There are some things one can only achieve by a deliberate leap in the opposite direction」

法國暢銷科幻作家柏納 · 韋柏：「激發新思維最好的辦法就是超脫人類的想像力 / The best way to renew thought is to go outside the human imagination」

「Regenerate / 繼往開來，推陳出新；改變視角，再創新局」連結聯合國在2015年所倡議在2030年達成「SDGs:Sustainable Development Goals / 永續發展目標」，期許全球學生能夠審視既有，突破框架，重新並從心出發，以豐富多元的設計思維開拓出一條創新的道路。
